Are you looking for what to do with leftover cake?

Hi my name is Sandra from wonderlandcakesbw.com where we have been making cakes for over 5 years in Botswana.

One of the common questions we have as bakers is what can I do with leftover cake. So in this article I will show you The 10 best things about what to do with leftover cake

1: A CRUMBLE

If you have leftover cake that has broken or is a bit chewy, you can make a delicious fruit crumble!

Crumble the cake until you get a kind of sand, and mix it with melted butter and a few tablespoons of sugar.

Cut and peel the fruits of your liking and let the marinate for a few minutes in a bowl with a little sugar. Place them in a baking dish, with the crumble on top, you can also add some sliced almonds, and cook for 20 minutes at 180ºC until golden on top.

Serve warm. You can accompany it with a little vanilla ice cream.

2: A CHARLOTTE

Cut your cake into elongated pieces, all the same size, to form the circumference of the charlotte.

Chocolate, pear or strawberry, which one do you like best?

3: CAKE POPS

Cake pops are a great idea to recycle cake chips that have hardened, or the leftover edges of a shaped cake.

Crumble the cake and mix it with cream cheese, with Nutella and banana or with dulce de leche and walnuts. Bathe them with chocolate, insert the tooth pick and decorate with colored sprinkles or pieces of cookies or nuts.
